OASyS SCADA by AVEVA takes SCADA data read from the field and generates additional operational data such as tank volumes from tank levels. OASyS delivers data to the control room, but business applications cannot leverage an MQTT middleware solution’s benefits without access to contextualized real-time data. As a result, corporate users of SCADA data are often left using inefficient methods, such as spreadsheets loaded from text files with their inherent inaccuracies and updates usually once a day.
Continuous updates. Applications now have continuous access to real-time SCADA data at a frequency determined by the SparxMQ configuration, typically around 15 to 60 seconds.
