Who are Junior SCADA Engineers?

Streamline Junior SCADA Engineers are highly talented and driven individuals who typically have skills and experience similar to the following:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, Rust, VB.Net, C, or C++
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, industrial protocols, and PLC programming
  • Experience with HMI design and development
  • Knowledge in networking protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, DNP3, etc.)
  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team

What to Expect as a Junior SCADA Engineer

As a Junior SCADA Engineer, you will be a vital part of our system engineering team, working on the design, development, and integration of SCADA systems for various industries.

Other job responsibilities look like:

  • Assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SCADA systems
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to meet project objectives
  • Apply programming knowledge in languages such as Python, Rust, VB.Net, C, or C++ to enhance SCADA system functionality
  • Contribute to system documentation and provide training as necessary
  • Adhere to all necessary industry-specific regulations and standards
  • Provide ongoing technical support for SCADA systems
  • Conduct tests to ensure system performance and reliability
