What to Expect as a Junior Controls Engineer
As a Junior Controls Engineer, you will help us maintain and improve our automated systems.
Other job responsibilities look like:
- Assist in the design, programming, simulation, and testing of ControlLogix systems and HMI interfaces
- Participate in the integration of new control systems and the modification of existing systems
- Troubleshoot control system issues, both hardware and software
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to meet project objectives
- Maintain thorough documentation of all system designs and modifications
- Follow industry-specific regulations and standards
- Provide ongoing technical support for control systems
- Assist in system start-ups and operational checkout on systems including configuration, wiring, calibration, and power testing
